Liquid Filter Bags, Strainer Bags

Liquid filter bags, often referred to as strainer bags, offer efficient filtration for a wide range of industries and applications including the food and beverage sector, paint and coatings, and more. Offered in all sizes to meet exact needs, Micronics can provide the liquid filter bag you need to keep your equipment performing at its best.

String Wound Cartridge Filters

String wound cartridge filters have excellent dirt-holding capacity, are effective at removing a high sediment load from liquids, utilize a depth filtration mechanism, and have very low media migration. This means very little of the filter material itself will detach and contaminate the fluid passing through it. String-wound cartridge Filters are manufactured on custom, high-speed, computer-controlled machines for perfect thread spacing.

  • 6 different types of media selection and 13 micron ratings to choose from
  • All end cap configurations available to fit your existing housing
  • Standard diameters are 2.5 and 4.5 inches
  • Standard lengths from 9.75 up to 40 inches

Melt Blown Cartridge Filters

Melt Blown Cartridge Filters are typically used in sediment applications. They have high dirt-holding capacity, can filter a wide range of particle sizes, and are compatible with various liquids. They’re manufactured using melt-blown polypropylene or nylon fibers and will not transfer taste or odor to your filtered liquid. We offer a range of options to meet your precise needs and our experts will be pleased to assist when choosing between melt blown and string wound cartridges. 

  • Elements are made from 1 to 100 micron in standard, high efficiency, absolute, and heavy-duty grades
  • Elements are produced in standard and custom sizes to meet all high-sediment applications

Industrial Liquid Cartridge Filters

Liquid Cartridge Filters are modular filters that are used to remove debris from various liquids. They use either a pleated fabric or a screen to filter the liquid, trapping sediment and chemicals in the process. Surface Filtration and Depth Loading are two types of Liquid Cartridge Filters that can be used. Filtration is accomplished by collecting sediment either on the surface or through depth loading where the debris gets trapped through all layers of the cartridge filter. We offer:
