GORE® Low Drag Filter Bags Deliver 20-30% Utility Savings to Baghouses in the Iron & Steel Industry

ROMEOVILLE, IL., BETHLEHEM, PA and ELKTON, MD – October 11, 2016 – Micronics Engineered Filtration Companies, C.P. Environmental (CPE) and United Process Control (UPC), leading filter bag change-out and mechanical service contractors for Industrial Air Pollution Control (APC) systems in North America, and the Performance Solutions Division of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (Gore) are pleased to announce a strategic alliance. The alliance encompasses the recently introduced GORE® Low Drag Filter Bags for the steel industry.

The new GORE® Low Drag Filter Bags deliver quantifiable performance advantages for Air Pollution Control (APC) systems in the steel industry based on 4 key parameters:
