In celebration of International Women’s Day, here are some thoughts about what motivates and excites some of our global employees to make a difference for our customers, our company, and the planet each and every day:

Laurence – General Manager, Canada; pictured with Linda

Laurence Tousignant is General Manager of Micronics’ Trois-Rivières, Quebec facility, and has an M.Sc in International Business. She believes we are fortunate to work in an industry that helps to protect the environment for future generations so we can access all the wonderful natural resources available, and enjoy the outdoors! She loves the operational challenges of her role as GM and finding innovative solutions to resolving customer challenges. Laurence is looking forward to continuing to improve our teams and processes and integrating the best practices from the different teams/sites globally!

Walee – Technical Manager, China

Walee Jia, a Textile Engineer, is the Technical Manager of Micronics’ China facilities in Zhangjiagang City. She loves her varied roles including sales team technical support, quality assurance, managing product trials, and laboratory management. Walee travels extensively to customer sites to communicate with clients and perform services such as filter bag failure analyses. With her daily work in advanced filtration technology for air pollution control, Walee is motivated daily to ensure that her child – and all children – can see more stars in the sky at night!

Larissa – Product and Application Engineer, Australia

As a Chemical Engineer, Larissa Ignaczuk enjoys applying her technical expertise to problem-solving, offering assistance whenever possible, and learning from more seasoned filtration colleagues. She enjoys the scientific knowledge and technical details behind our products and making a difference for the planet by providing reliable filtration solutions for our customers!

Josiane – Int’l Technical Sales, Brazil; pictured with Karina

A graduate in Chemical Engineering, Josiane Riffel is daily involved with growing our industrial filtration business internationally. She is passionate about connecting our customers with solutions that not only optimize their processes but also have a positive impact on the environment. It’s truly fulfilling to know that each project goes beyond operational benefits, actively contributing to the preservation of our world!

Priskilla – Project Engineer, India and Jebie – Customer Service Representative, India

As an Environmental Engineer, and responsible for the execution of orders globally, Priskilla Jeya Rani looks forward to providing quality service, timely delivery, and achieving customer satisfaction, daily. As a Mechanical Engineer, Jebie K brings her technical background to growing Micronics’ business and translating customer requirements into their satisfaction.
