With our welded “HPR” Feed Neck, a flat cloth is consistently produced, without the possibility of creases or twisting that might be introduced when cloth necks are hand-stitched. Its resistance to folds and creases translates into greater integrity of the filtration media at the feed area which improves the cake release and improves cloth life.

No product losses. The unique “HPR” construction makes it an excellent choice for ensuring there are no product losses. Since there are no stitch holes with the welded HPR design, there is no costly leaking or bypassing product through stitch holes. Simply put, the HPR design means there will be no yield losses. Improved slurry delivery. With Micronics’ HPR Feed Neck design, you benefit from a nice, uniform, open feed core delivery with unrestricted and consistent flow to the filter chamber. Consistent flow means consistently-formed filter cakes, a plus for your efficient filter press operation.

Reduced maintenance since no feed core clean-up is necessary. Micronics’ welded HPR Feed Neck design means any feed core plug that may exist will be easily discharged along with the filter cake. The impervious HPR Feed Neck creates a welcome tool for eliminating manual operator core cleanup.

Micronics’ industry-leading HPR Feed Neck design utilizes thermoplastic rubber compounds and a controlled-temperature welding system to attach the feed neck to a polypropylene filter cloth.
