In 2013, the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group purchased the molds and tools for the manufacturing of Replacement Membrane Skins for E&J brand Membrane Filter Plates from Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies. Together with the molds and tools, Micronics obtained the designs, detailed manufacturing procedures, drawings, and specifications for the fabrication of the E&J Membrane Skins.

Available materials for the Replacement Membrane Skins include:

EPDM Rubber – typically utilized for pigments & chemical manufacturing applications.

Natural Rubber – typically used for municipal wastewater treatment applications

Depending on the application, the feed hole area may additionally be strengthened with a reinforcing assembly.

For each membrane size, there are a number of designs with various options. For example, on a 1500mm x 1500mm Membrane Filter Plate, there are 8 different assembly variations.
