Micronics’ patented, high-performance welded feed neck design – dubbed “HPR” – is a superior filter cloth design feature for use on recessed filter plates. Improved filter cloth performance due to better cloth construction with no creases.
With our welded HPR feed neck, a flat cloth is consistently produced, without the possibility of creases or twisting that might be introduced when cloth necks are hand-stitched. Its resistance to folds and creases translates into integrity of the filtration media at the feed area which improves the cake release and improves cloth life.

No product losses. The unique HPR construction makes it an excellent choice for ensuring there are no product losses. Since there are no stitch holes with the welded HPR design, there is no annoying leaking or bypassing product through stitch holes. Simply put, the HPR design means there will be no yield losses. This is a clear boost to your operation, particularly when you are filtering expensive products such as titanium dioxide (TiO2.) and highly valuable mineral and metal products.

Improved abrasion resistance. Filter cloth is a key ingredient for improving the performance of your filter press operation and our HPR welded design is especially effective for challenging alkali or acidic slurry conditions. Micronics’ HPR feed necks are fully resistant to high velocity and abrasive slurries such as those in gypsum, stone, aluminum, ceramics, and chrome.

Improved slurry delivery. With Micronics’ HPR feed neck design, you benefit from a nice, uniform, open feed core delivery with unrestricted and consistent flow to the filter chamber. Consistent flow means consistently-formed filter cakes, a plus for your efficient filter press operation.

Reduced maintenance since no feed core clean-up is necessary. Micronics’ welded HP feed neck design means any feed core plug that may exist will be easily discharged along with the filter cake. The impervious HPR feed neck creates a welcome tool for eliminating manual operator core cleanup.
