Filter Cloth: Filter Assemblies

Step 7 - MISC. FILTER CLOTH ASSEMBLIES

Our emphasis on pressure filtration also provides technical know how for other similar liquid solid separation machines. Vacuum assisted and enclosed low pressure filters use filter fabrics with lighter and more open constructions, while incorporating our yarn and weave knowledge.

  • Woven and Felted Belts
Woven and felted belts use clipper or alligator seams. In some cases filter belts are stitched onto the machine. Pressure filter belts are available for vertical filter presses and open monofilament constructions for belt filter presses. Specialty felted belts are used on corrugator machines.

  • Spiral Link Belts
Spiral belt fabrics are available in open designs and with "stuffer picks" for lower permeability and improved retention. Continuous spiral construction creates a totally seamless belt, which may be re-seamed easily if damaged. Stability and mechanical strength are the most important characteristics.
