Filter Cloth: Cloth Construction 2

Step 6 - FILTER CLOTH ASSEMBLY

  • Assembly & Construction
Cloth is assembled by stitching, automatic welding, and joining machines. Synthetic rubber sealant edge treatments are precisely applied using custom machinery.

  • Laser Cutting
Cloth shapes are created with CAD software, which is transferred to custom built, high speed Laser cutters. Our own engineers designed and built them to achieve high speed superior cutting, sealed edges and the quality demanded of Micronics filter cloth.

  • Latex Edge Sealing
Synthetic rubber sealing of the cloth is applied by liquid injection of the filter media, which creates depth coating of the fabric at the joints of the filter press plate. This acts to prevent "wicking" of the filtrate but is also very important when washing or air blowing the cake. The treatment prevents by-passing of the wash liquor or air blow.

  • Storage & Shipping
Our warehouses are stocked with many types of cloth for a large variety of customers. This enables us to immediately ship products around the world through our exclusive relationship with UPS.
